We're not a database. We're people placing people. Each nanny is personally vetted, interviewed, and thoughtfully matched to your family by a Super Nannies consultant who takes time to understand your home. Permanent or temporary placements available across Johannesburg, Durban, and Cape Town.
A long-term nanny, hand-matched and vetted. Live-in or live-out, full-time or part-time — for families who want the same trusted face in their home for years.
Short-term help for holidays, illness, parental leave, or a busy stretch. Vetted nannies often available within 24–48 hours.
Nanny, au pair, housekeeper-with-childcare, baby nurse — the differences matter. We break down what each role typically covers, and which one fits your household.
Most families go from first call to placed nanny in 2–4 weeks. We move at your pace, not ours.

To initiate our personalised nanny placement process, we require a once-off admin registration fee of R250, due when you (the client) wish to interview our candidates. This fee enables us to tailor our search to your unique family needs and provide you with top-quality nanny candidates. Our dedicated team will work closely with you to ensure a seamless and successful placement experience.
Permanent placements: a three-month guarantee period valid for one placement, effective from the date the employee commences employment with the client. If the relationship is terminated within the first three months, Super Nannies will not charge an additional fee for the second placement. Temporary placements: a ten-day guarantee period valid for one placement, effective from the date the employee commences employment.
We contact all references — whether a number or a letter of referral. Our screening process uses a specifically designed, detailed questionnaire to ensure there is no fraud. All work experience and references must be recent (last five years plus). Once a nanny completes her trial and you'd like to hire her, we provide the last employer's contact details so you may also speak to them. We are all mothers in the business of placing nannies — if anything feels off about a reference, we will not take the candidate on. The safety of your children is always top priority.
Yes. As part of the interview process, we insist on a 1–3 day trial with your nanny. We believe this is the "real interview" — when you, as an employer, can assess whether the nanny fits into your family and relates well to you and your children. The agency can check honesty and reliability through references, but personality match can only be assessed through a trial.
A R250 non-refundable registration fee is payable prior to conducting interviews. Permanent domestic workers: 10% of the annual salary — a once-off fee that comes with a Service Level Agreement and 3-month guarantee period (does not include the nanny's salary). Temporary placements: please refer to our temporary placement fee table. Month-by-month is R1 550 per consecutive month (one week to four months). A 10-day Service Level Agreement and scaling fee apply to clients who pay the full temporary placement fee upfront. A transport rebate of R60–R100 is to be refunded to the nanny after an interview.
Yes. We encourage our clients to register UIF online — it's a simple and effective process and we provide the two registration documents required. As for contracts, we work with a labour lawyer to ensure all our paperwork is legally correct for both us and our clients.
One short conversation. We'll take it from there.
